View CalendarNinja Course GRAND OPENING

Lysander Parks and Recreation is excited to announce the installation of a Ninja Course at Lysander Park. The goal of the Ninja Course is to engage teens who have outgrown playgrounds but still want a place of belonging within the park. This Ninja Course was purchased with the CREST grant provided by Senator John Mannion and Greenfields Outdoor Fitness. It combines challenges of varying difficulties so nearly everyone can complete aspects of the course while also pushing their limits in a fun atmosphere.
Arts and Crafts Club: Paper Bag Puppets
| 10:30am to 11:30am
Join us each Tuesday during the summer for a FREE arts and crafts program! This program is a great way to get out of the house, get outside, and encourage your children to express their creativity! You can usually find us at one of the pavilions, but in case of bad weather, we'll be in the community room. For our FINAL Arts and Crafts Club of the season, we'll be making puppets from paper bags! We'll have templates for you to use, but we'll also have supplies for you to design your own.

Thursdays, June 25 - August 27 | 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM
THIS PROGRAM HAS BEEN CANCELLED FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE SEASONJoin us weekly throughout the summer for our FREE Kids Board Game Club!We'll have a variety of board games set out each week on Thursdays from 6:00pm to 7:00pm. You can play our games, or you can bring your own! This program is the perfect opportunity to make new friends or have a family board game night!We'll see you there!

Our coaching staff has the following objectives in mind for your child:We will introduce the sport of running and many field events.We will provide a safe and social environment for your child to explore something new.We will encourage our participants to BEE KIND, BEE BRAVE, and BEE THEIR BEST!
